When you schedule a wedding in the Cascades, you are probably searching for a space that gives you the very best views. With Swiftwater Cellars, you can exchange your vows in the mountains before heading inside for a rustic ceremony complete with fabulous wines. As a Coeur d’Alene wedding photographer, I absolutely adore working with couples all across the area so they can have their dream celebrations. Here’s what you can expect from a Swiftwater Cellars wedding.
301 Rope Rider Drive, Cle Elum, Washington 98922
Swiftwater Cellars is a family-owned wedding venue that was started by Don and Lori Watts. Years and years before they took over, the land was occupied by miners looking for coal. While the landscape of the area has changed quite a bit since then, you can still find remainders, including the entrance to the No. 9 Mine right by the Swiftwater Cellars forecourt. The Watts love honoring history, whether they are showing off old photos or aging their trademark No. 9 wines. With this venue, you can have drinks and a view!
With Swiftwater Cellars, your entire wedding can take place on the grounds. You will start out in the bridal and groom suites, where you can get ready with your wedding party by your side. Once you have finished with your pre-wedding pictures, you can head to your ceremony site. While the venue has plenty of spots you can choose from, I personally adore the Tipple Hill Gazebo! Here, you can exchange your vows beneath a large wooden pavilion with views of the mountains as your backdrop. If you would prefer an indoor spot, you can use either the Garden Room or the Swiftwater Room.
For your cocktail hour, your guests can head to the patio and enjoy snacks and drinks. The venue will have furniture set out so they can relax as they admire this truly breathtaking space. Then, it will be time for your reception. If you would like to host this outside, you can use the Tipple Hill Gazebo. Inside, you can use the rustic Garden Room with barn doors, lofted ceilings, wooden walls, and exposed rafters. There is also the industrial chic Swiftwater Room, where the winery equipment is on full display. Both of these spots can host up to 250 guests.
You are going to have so many dreamy options when it comes to your Swiftwater Cellars wedding portraits! The attached golf course will give your party an accessible way to explore the grounds so you can have the best backdrops for your group photos. The nearby woods and the cellars themselves are ideal for your couple’s portraits.
Swiftwater Cellars is going to make sure your wedding day is nothing short of magical! They will provide you with tables and chairs, and they will handle the full set-up and take-down for your wedding. Their staff members will be there to keep things running smoothly, whether they are serving your guests or making sure everything is in its perfect spot. You will have a delectable menu thanks to their experienced Executive Chef.
