Nestled amidst the mountains of Washington, the Suncadia Resort wedding venue is located near the tiny town of Roslyn. While the area has some of the earliest traces of human life in North America, the story of the Suncadia is actually fairly recent. The primary section of the building was constructed in 2003, and gradual progress was made over the next twenty years. Today, it stands as a beacon of luxury amidst the rugged wilderness. From their high-end spa to their scenic golf course, they have everything you need for an unforgettable trip.  

Details of the Grounds

With Suncadia Resort, you are going to have 6,400 acres within the Cascades available throughout your wedding day. You can start out your morning in your hotel suite where you will be absolutely pampered. They have several options for lodging so you can find the one that fits your party the best! 

Once it’s time for your ceremony, you will have several options. My absolute favorite is The Lookout, where you will have a wooden deck overlooking the mountains where you can exchange your vows. If you would prefer a rustic barn wedding, the Historic Nelson Farm might just be your place. And for those who want a quiet wedding on the golf course, you will fall head over heels for Roslyn Lawn! 

Once it’s time for your cocktail hour, you will have no shortage of spots for snacks and drinks. One of the top options is The Village Amphitheater where you will have cocktails with lakeside views! 

If you would prefer an indoor reception, The Lodge has several ballrooms you can use for this portion of your day. For those who would want to keep the views, The Fairway Tent is your spot! You will be in the midst of the golf course with everything you need for a legendary party. From dance floors to optional tent sidings, you can celebrate in comfort! Suncadia can accommodate up to 450 guests for your wedding day. 

Photography Opportunities

When it comes to wedding portrait locations, you are going to have so many Suncadia Resort options! I love the golf course for this portion because it makes the wildest places far more accessible for your couple’s portraits. It’s also extremely helpful for group pics. The Lookout and the lawn surrounding The Lodge are going to give you the best backdrops for pretty much all your portraits.

Their in-house catering team is going to provide you with one of the best meals you’ve ever had, plus they’re going to handle the drinks, the tables, and the chairs.
