5 Stunning Spots Loved By A Spokane Engagement Photographer

For your wedding portraits, you are trying to capture a vibe. These portraits are your chance to pause and celebrate the story you are writing together. They also set the tone for your wedding day as they hang out on your guests’ fridges if you use them for your save-the-dates. So, when you are planning your pics with your Spokane engagement photographer, you want to be sure you find a spot that feels authentic to you.

As a Spokane engagement photographer, maybe I’m a little bit biased, but I always recommend heading downtown for your perfect backdrop. Seriously, you are going to have everything from modern industrial buildings to those gorgeous pops of nature. If you have been looking for the best spot for your downtown Spokane wedding pics, here’s a list of my favorite spots!

5 Stunning Downtown Locations For Your Engagement Session Loved By Your Spokane Engagement Photographer

Davenport Hotel

10 South Post Street, Spokane, Washington 99201

Davenport Hotel is such a Spokane gem both inside and out for your engagement photographer. When you use the exterior, you can capture the stately brick and the iconic red vintage sign on the side of the building. Inside, you’ll have the lavish Peacock Room Lounge, where you can sip espresso martinis beneath the positively stunning stained glass ceiling.

Riverfront Park Spokane

507 N Howard Street, Spokane, Washington 99201

I love Riverfront Park Spokane for my engagement photographer sessions because I can let my guests wander around and find the spots that speak to them! Across 100 acres, you’re bound to find something. From the legendary Garbage Goat to the hand-carved Looff Carrousel to the two (yes, TWO) separate islands, you are going to have some pretty great spots for your pics!

Spokane Pavilion

574 West N Howard Street, Spokane, Washington 99201

Spokane Pavilion is located inside Riverfront Park, but it’s so extravagant, it deserves its own engagement photographer spot post. The pavilion was built in the 1970s and remains a favorite destination. During the day, the amphitheater offers a textured space that throws contrast against the sky. During the night, it’s lit up with brilliant rainbow colors that will add a unique charm to your pics.

Nishinomiya Tsutakawa Japanese Garden

2025 S Bernard St, Spokane, Washington 99203

Nishinomiya Tsutakawa Japanese Garden is gorgeous any time of year, but it has become my favorite Spokane engagement photographer place during the fall. The leaves transform into fiery colors that will be on display throughout your pics. There are also wooden bridges, koi ponds, and waterfalls that will breathe magic into your portraits.

Duncan Garden

1702 S Grand Blvd, Spokane, Washington 99203

Duncan Garden is a lush space with just the right touch of whimsy. As you stroll through the walking paths of the garden, you are going to find bright beds of colorful flowers that will liven up your pics. There is also a European-inspired gazebo where you can sneak a kiss amongst the blooms.
