When you are planning a rustic wedding, you need the perfect setting without compromising on the amenities. Luckily, there’s The Farmhouse on Green Bluff to make sure you can have your dream wedding. This unique space combines barn wedding vibes with luxurious amenities to make sure your wedding is anything but basic. As a Coeur d’Alene wedding photographer, I get the chance to tour some of the top venues around the Pacific Northwest. Here’s what you can expect when you book Farmhouse on Green Bluff.
8515 E Green Bluff Road, Colbert, Washington 99005
The Farmhouse on Green Bluff is a family-owned venue that operates as an actual farm throughout the year. During the springtime, the ground is vibrant with thousands of tulips. Throughout the fall, pumpkins take over, inviting people to stop by and pick their perfect find. And while the property is overwhelmingly gorgeous, their weddings remain their specialty. This is one of the few venues that is legally permitted in Spokane County, offering you everything you could need for your ideal celebration. They only host one wedding a weekend and will be there every step of the way, from planning through your send-off.
With The Farmhouse on Green Bluff, you will be able to spend your entire day on the site. When you arrive, you can head to The Suite, where you will have a make-up bar and private restrooms to get ready. There is also The Flowershop for your partner.
You can choose from several indoor and outdoor spots for your ceremony. For those who want to take advantage of the views, you can use the Ceremony Lawn where you will get premium views of Mt. Spokane. Indoor ceremonies can take place inside The Barn. This is a sophisticated space with white shiplap walls and 28-foot vaulted ceilings.
For your cocktail hour, your guests can head outside and order drinks on the patio just outside the building. The venue will provide you with lawn games for this portion. For your reception, your guests can head inside The Barn, where the venue will have their tables and chairs laid out according to your vision. There is a glass garage door that can be kept open so your guests can wander in and out throughout the night. This space can hold up to 200 guests.
With Farmhouse On Green Bluff, the open fields are going to give you the best backdrops for your portraits. You can also check with the venue and see what’s in bloom throughout your wedding weekend. Both the tulips and the pumpkin fields will bring a seasonal twist to your photos!
The Farmhouse On Green Bluff is more than happy to work with you to give you all you need for your wedding. Since they only allow one wedding each weekend, you can come here ahead of time and decorate the venue however you’d like. They allow catering through licensed kitchens and will offer easy access for your caterer of choice. You will have day-of coordination, a ceremony arbor, a full sound system, and clean-up following your celebration.
